Spotify has updated its Terms of Service to ban ad blockers, bots and fraudulent streams. If you use an ad blocker for the streaming service, you should end the setting or you will be excluded from the service.

These changes are designed to accomplish two things. Make sure Spotify gets all the money it's supposed to get (no ad blockers) and prevent Spotify from paying out money it should not be (no fake streams). Unfortunately, Spotify does not just have ad blockers for browsers, but apps for Windows and Android to block the streaming service ads. If you use one of these options, you should probably stop immediately, unless your account is terminated.
