Halloween 2018 was a bit dark for Stranger Things fans. In 2017, the second season of Netflix's horror sci-fi drama appeared just days before the creepy holiday, making streaming TV better than any other candy. But fans will have to console themselves with fun Snickers bars and SweeTarts this fall as the blockbuster hit returns in 2019.
To alleviate the pain, Netflix reminds fans that November 6 [is; In the universe of the 1983 show, it was the day Will Byers disappeared. Some fans speculate that we could get the first trailer of Season 3 on Tuesday, but it's Netflix, so the guess is good.
The show came out of nowhere in July 201
The show was renewed for a third season, and co-designers Matt and Ross Duffer say a fourth and fifth season are likely. Here's a little taste of what to expect for strange things.
When? From where? What? Season Three will come sometime in 2019 and will feature eight episodes, just like Season One (but one less than Season Two). It was set in the summer of 1985 and jumped a year after the second season.
In the past two seasons, Netflix released all new episodes simultaneously, turning the show into another figurehead for binge monitoring. We're expecting the same all-in-one episode dump again, though we have no confirmation.
Production began on April 20. On April 27, Netflixof the cast, which settled down to read the presumably first screenplay of the new season. (Priah Ferguson orders the audience "Get out of here, nerds!"). Unfortunately, there are no spoilers, but it's fun to see the cast again, even if only the back of the head.
At the Primetime Emmy Awards in September 2018, producer Shawn Levy told the Hollywood Reporter that the filming will be completed in two months, so it will be November. He added, "Kinematically, it's our biggest season yet."
Star Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler, repeated Levy and said, "This year feels very big, I mean, [all the seasons] feel great, but this may feel like the biggest, is it." was good. "

Maya Hawke: Hawke, the daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, is inducted into the cast as Robin, reports Variety. Robin is described as an "alternative girl" who is bored with her everyday sense of life. She seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she expected when she discovers a dark secret. "
Cary Elwes: Elwes, forever known as Westley at The Princess Bride, comes to Hawkins, where he'll play the mayor of the city." Pretty Mayor Kline is a classic 80s politician. He is more concerned with his own image than with the people in the small town he governs, "says Netflix .
Jake Busey: Busey, son of acclaimed actor Gary Busey, will play Bruce, whom Netflix calls" Journalist for The Hawkins Post is described with questionable morality and ill humor.
What do we know about the conspiracy Freeze Police! In October 2018, a casting notice was looking for fellow military and police players Experience to film with the show in Atlanta – both men and women between the ages of 18 and 50 with ethnicity are required Hmm, what stranger plot could require a large military or police presence, Chief Chief could use a larger force to control the supernatural side of Hawkins?
Beat the Band: In September 2018 wu The casting bulletinsto appear in a stranger's episode. As in the police / military notice above, there is not a ton of info that fits this message: will it be a school band? A community group? Should they appear in a parade? And, of course, we do not know if one of the lead actors is going to be part of the band, which could mean it could play a bigger role in an episode, or if the band is just background noise.
Life is a Beach: The celebrity site Just Jared released a photo of Millie Bobby Brown, who is filming a pretty dramatic scene on the beach in Malibu, California. Stranger things are of course located in the interior of Indiana, perhaps the Pacific stands for an Indiana lake or river. Or maybe Eleven will do a West Coast trip this new season. About a week later, more shots of the cast in Georgia were shown, this time with most of Eleven's friends, but she was not seen. It is unclear in which scene the children were filming, and most of them were wrapped in robes, either to keep warm or to hide what they were wearing.
Elfens back story reveals : Viewers have already met with Eleven's mother, Terry Ives has gotten into trouble, but a new novel for young adults, to be released in February 2019, will dig deeper into her mother's past , Entertainment Weekly published an excerpt from Gwenda Bond's book Suspicious Minds. This is followed by Dr. Brenner (in the show Matthew Modine), as he tries to bring together a group of young test persons, which probably includes Terry. The five-year-old Eight, who meets Eleven when she's a little older, also appears.
Love is in the air: The romantic duets of Eleven / Mike and Max / Lucas are still together in Season 3, but how long? "They are like 13- or 14-year-old children, what does romance mean in this phase of life?". But Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, noted that the show will take place in the summer of 1985, calling it "the summer of love". Wolfhard was not there in 1967 for the first love summer, and he was born only after the summer of 1985. His quote, however, seems to indicate that love and relationships will be part of Season Three, either for better or for worse.
Not everyone's romance, however, will be all hearts and flowers. Police Chief Jim Hopper, David Harbor, said his character will "take more risks with these new languages of intimacy and vulnerability," but will "fidget and be terrible."
Father Figure as a Martyr: Also in the summer of 2018,audience that he knew how to bow out of his character. "I would like to take a ball for Eleven," he said. And when the fans cheered the selfless answer, he replied, "Now you are all happy that I have died!" No fears. I think Hopper will stay until the end of the show. We have to wait and see if he lives happily after that (with Joyce?) Or heroically exchanges his life for Eleven.
New Faces: Finn Wolfhard appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in August 2018, pointing out some new additions. "We are in the middle of it (filming the season)," said Wolfhard. "We have some new actors, some incredible people." But that was all he was going to spill for, and Fallon quickly changed the subject and made a joke about how he should appear on the show as a "weird uncle or something". New characters are not a surprise, and if they play big roles, as in the second season of Max and Billy, details will certainly soon leak out.
More D & D: The first season started with the main guys playing Dungeons & Dragons, which certainly made the show popular with all nerds out there. Expect more from the fantasy role-playing game in Season 3. As Comicbook.com points out, artist Jared Flaming announced on Instagram in April that he's been teaching the show's prop champion about the game.
Dad Steve is back: The older character Steve Harrington (Joe Keery), who turned out to be Dustin's big brother figure in Season 2, will continue this role. "I'm just saying we will not give up the father-Steve magic," Levy told THR.
Back in Time: Ghostbusters was an important theme in Season 2, and Michael J. Fox's 1985 film Back to the Future will be a key element in this season.
Chasing Chase: Back to the Future is not the only movie from the 1980s that will play a role. David Harbor told Variety that Chevy Chase's action comedy from 1985. "Fletch is a movie in which we play around and have fun with this season you would not expect from stranger things and you would not expect the Spielberg universe and you certainly would not expect a darker season." He said ,
Hopper Story: Harbor also told Variety that he hopes the show will examine his character's story as a New York policeman and as a Vietnam veterinarian. "I'm curious how his tours in Vietnam might have made him who he is, and if some of that stuff is not still lingering or being persecuted in various ways," Harbor said.
Sing it, sister: Lucas's lively younger sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) will play an expanded role this season, and rightly so. "There's definitely going to be more Erica in Season 3," co-designer Ross Duffer told Yahoo Entertainment. "http://www.cnet.com/"We used more Erica – that was one of the first things we said in the writers' room."
Keep up with the Byerses : Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, did her best to start a crazy rumor about the new season: When interviewed by E! In mid-May, Brown co-star Noah Schnapp asked if he would love To see reality show star Kim Kardashian in strange things, a puzzled snap thought the casting was a reality, and Brown explained that Kardashian was playing a character named 10. Kardashian himself appeared to be aboard enthusiastic response . (Fan Opinion: NOOOOO PLEASE NOOOO!)
