So, if you sign up just before the premiere of the new season, you can use the new season and the two previous years and cancel your membership for free. praised Season 3, dubbing it as "a tighter, faster, shorter episode of eight episodes that taps into every childhood emotional vein (even for those who do not) grew up in the eighties). "
Bisset is not alone. MTVNews' cultural director, Crystal Bell tweeted that the third season was the show's "best season yet" loved past seasons, but also elevates elements to new heights.
Trailer and Teasing
While waiting for the full episodes,Things in Hawkins look pretty bleak this summer – um, we mean, in the summer of 1985
Also check out the latest poster in the series, yes, Eleven wears a scrunchie, and that's a lot of dead rats, and is that a new vile monster rising from its head?
In May, the show teased A little bit about the hot times that come to the Hawkins, Indiana, Community Pool Tip: The middle-aged moms love her, [BillyBillythelifeguard. The Netflix also released some of the new video clip It's alright to laugh at Steve Harrington in his sailor ice cream uniform Scoops Ahoy.
Already in March, the showof nineteenth-century nostalgia ass was.
The trailer has its funny retro moments – Dustin sprays Lucas in the face with Farrah Fawcett hair spray as his friends sneak up on him – but it's obvious that Hawkins is still in danger. Hopper tries to reassure Joyce that he wants her to feel safe, but who can do that when a new horrible monster lurks and a guy with a gun? And it's really a shame that Mews, Dustin's family cat, has come to such a tragic end because apparently. (Read: .)
Netflix released the release date of July 4th, 2014 with a cute retro video featuring clips from Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin & # 39; Eve mixed. The actual issue of 1984 is 1985, with typical dark and gloomy things by Stranger Things. The video was cut with strange computer errors, revealing a hidden message saying, "When blue and yellow meet in the west."
Netflix also tweeted a picture of the cast celebrating under Fireworks Sky on July 4th. What is it about?
Why are strange things so strangely compelling? The show came out of nowhere in July 2016, with a backdrop from the 1980s and many details of pop culture. Young Will Byers disappears one night after playing with his friends in Hawkins, Indiana, D & D. The plot includes a secret government lab, a young girl named Eleven, with psychokinetic powers, a spooky upside-down dimension filled with monsters and blobs, and Christmas lights that flash a disturbing message. It boosted the heel of Eggo Waffles, Elfens favorite snack, and created a whole movement, Justice for Barb, after a beloved character had disappeared from a pool and sent fans out of nowhere.
The third season is about to explode The two co-designers Matt and Ross Duffer say that a fourth and a fifth season are likely.
And in an interview with CNET Magazine
(Hopper himself) also confirmed this treat about the show: We Can Expect [strangerthingstostayafewmoreyearsat and progress in five seasons. He also said he knows "something of Hoppers place in this story, because the more you know about the end of your story, the more you can set yourself up," and that fans should not be afraid of loose ends ( Coughing – – Cough ) No matter when the show ends.
"I'm very proud of that … we're not going to somehow get lost in our story and let those strands go," he said. "We will tie things together."
But until then, here's a glimpse into the strange things that await us.
Meet the cast
Maya Hawke: Hawke, the daughter of actor Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, will join the cast as Robin, reports Variety. Robin is described as an "alternative girl" who is bored with her everyday job, looking for the excitement in her life and getting more than she expected when she discovers a dark secret. "
Cary Elwes: Elwes, forever known as Westley in The Princess Bride, comes to Hawkins, where he will play the city's mayor. "Mayor Kline is a handsome, smart and greasy politician in the '80s who cares more about his own image than the people in the small town he governs," says Netflix.
Jake Busey: Busey, son of acclaimed actor Gary Busey, will play Bruce, described by Netflix as "a journalist for The Hawkins Post with questionable morality and a sick sense of humor."
What we know about the plot Bros Forever: One of the most endearing features of the series was when Dustin and Steve developed a sympathetic relationship between two brothers. "You definitely see more of that," said actor Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, opposite Entertainment Weekly. "That's what I really like about (Showrunners) Matt and Ross (Duffer): They know what fans like and they roll with it."
Millie and Eleven: Millie Bobby Brown has recently revealed that she and her character are even more blended this season. "Eleven will be much more like me … She will definitely be more like me this season," Brown said in a news conference. "She is very vulnerable, very powerful and strong, I can relate mainly to her strength." The actress also said that she had a hand in her character that became more stylish, even "showing a little leg."
Billy, do not be a hero: The last trailer suggests that Max's mob brother Billy will be obsessed with everything that still lurks outside of the upside. Hawkins' mothers may think he's hot at the local pool, but summer is bad for old Bill.
Freeze, police! In October 2018, a casting notice was looking for extras with military and police experience to film the show in Atlanta. Both men and women between the ages of 18 to 50 years of every ethnicity are needed. Hmm, what kind of conspiracy with alien things might require a large military or police presence? Could Chief Hopper bring in a larger force to control the supernatural side of Hawkins?
Record the band: In September 2018, casting messages were publishedin a Stranger Things episode. As in the above communication on police / military casting, there is not much information on this message: Will it be a school band? A community group? Should they appear in a parade? And of course we do not know if one of the main characters will be part of the band, which seems to mean that it could play a bigger role in an episode or if the band is just background noise.
Life is a Beach: Celebrity Site Just Jared published a photo of Millie Bobby Brown, who seems to be filming a pretty dramatic scene on the beach in Malibu, California. Of course, Stranger Things plays in the landlocked Indiana, so maybe the Pacific Ocean stands for a lake or river in Indiana. Or maybe Eleven will make a trip to the West Coast in the new season. About a week later, more snapshots of the cast recorded in Georgia were revealed, this time with most of Eleven's friends, but she was not seen. It is unclear which scene the children were shooting, and most of them were wrapped in robes, either to keep warm or to hide what they were wearing.
Eleven's Backstory Reveals : Viewers have already met with Eleven's mother, Terry Ives, but a new novel for young adults, which was released in February 2019, is out even more concerned with her mother's past. Entertainment Weekly published an excerpt from Gwenda Bond's book titled Suspicious Minds and follows Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine in the show), who is trying to put together a group of young volunteers, probably also Terry. The five-year-old Eight, who meets Elf when she's a little older, also appears.
Love is in the air: The romantic duets Eleven / Mike and Max / Lucas are still together in Season 3, but how much longer? "They are like 13- or 14-year-old children, what does romance mean in this phase of life?". Yet Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, noted that the show will be playing in the summer of 1985, calling it the "Summer of Love." Wolfhard was not there for the first summer of love in 1967, and he was born only after the summer of 1985. But his quote seems to indicate that love and relationships will be part of season three, for better or for worse.
Not everyone's romance, however, will only consist of hearts and flowers. David Harbor, who plays police chief Jim Hopper, said his character will "take more risks with these new languages of intimacy and vulnerability," but will "override and be terrible."
Father figure as a martyr: Also in the summer of 2018that he knew how to say goodbye to his character. "I would like to take a ball for the elf," he said. And when the fans cheered the selfless reaction, he replied, "Now you're all looking forward to my dying!" No fear. I think Hopper will stick to it until the end of the show. We'll have to wait and see if he lives happily (with Joyce?) Or heroically swaps his life for that of Eleven.
New Faces: Finn Wolfhard appeared in the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in August 2018, pointing out some new faces. "We're currently shooting the season," Wolfhard said. "We have some new actors, some incredible people." But that was about anything he would shed, and Fallon quickly changed the subject to joke about how he should act on the show as a "strange uncle or something." New characters are no surprise, and if they play an important role, as Max and Billy did in Season 2, details will be revealed soon.
More D & D: The first season began with the main cast of Dungeons & Dragons. Expect more from Season 3's fantasy role-playing game. Comicbook.com said artist Jared Flaming announced on Instagram in April that he's teaching the show's prop champion the game.
Dad Steve is back: Older teenage character Steve Harrington (Joe Keery), who turned out to be a big brother figure to Dustin in season 2, will retain that role. "I'm just saying we will not give up the Dad Steve magic," Levy told THR.
Back in Time: Ghostbusters was a major theme in Season 2, and Michael J. Fox's 1985 film Back to the Future will be a key element in this season.
Chasing Chase: Back to the Future is not the only movie of the 1980s that will play a role. David Harbor told Variety that Chevy Chase's action comedy from 1985. "Fletch is a movie that we can play around this season and have fun with, what you would not expect from Stranger Things, and you would not expect it from the Spielberg universe, and you certainly would not expect a darker season , " he said.
Hoppers History: Harbor told Variety that he hopes the show examines the story of his character as a New York policeman and as a Vietnam veterinarian. "I'm curious how his tours in Vietnam made him who he is, and whether some of these things still haunt or persecute him in various ways," Harbor said.
Sing it, sister: Lucas' vibrant younger sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) will play an expanded role this season, and rightly so. "There's definitely going to be more Erica in season three," said show co-creator Ross Duffer to Yahoo Entertainment. "http://www.cnet.com/" We need to use more Erica "- that was one of the first things we said in the author's room."
Keep up with the Byers: Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the Elf, did her best to spread a crazy rumor about the new season: when she was hit by E! Interviewed, Brown co-star Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) asked if he would love to see Kim Kardashian as a reality show star in "Stranger Things". A confused snap thought the casting was a reality, and Brown led the way, claiming Kardashian was ready to play a character called '10. Kardashian himself appeared to be aboard and tweet enthusiastic response . (Fan Opinion: NOOOOO PLEASE NOOOO!)
