The best wallets for your Apple Card – Review Geek

  The shiny new Apple Card.
Apple

According to Apple, leather wallets can pollute and soil your shiny new Apple Card. But do not worry, many alternatives make your Apple Card look like a clean, slim peripheral device.

What to Look Out for in an Apple Card Wallet

As described on Apple's official Apple Card Support Page Cards should be kept in a purse, bag or soft-material pocket. However, you must choose your "soft material" wisely, since "leather and jeans" can lead to permanent discoloration of the card. (Of course, Apple is replacing damaged cards for free, and a bit of discoloration is not the end of the world.)

You should also avoid wallets that make card-to-card contact easier, as the Apple card could become something special scratched " if it rubs against another card. Oh, and you should avoid wallets with "magnetic closures" as they could demagnetise the magnetic stripe on the Apple Card.

Follow these simple rules to a T, and your Apple Card should be protected against errors, discoloration, and magnetic nonsense. If your card shows a flaw, Apple recommends cleaning it with a microfiber cloth and some isopropyl alcohol.

Apple has not proposed a brand for alcohol or microfibre cloth on its website, but we've found that the company usually suggests this product from Belkin. Coincidentally, Belkin sells a microfiber cloth on Amazon. This cloth comes with a non-alcoholic solution that you should not use on your Apple Card . Therefore, it is best to combine them with Solimo brand isopropyl alcohol.

Note: We are not responsible if your Apple Card has been damaged by a Belkin microfiber cloth or Solimo isopropyl alcohol.

The RFID blocking option: Herschel Bi-fold wallet

  The Herschel nylon RFID wallet.
Herschel

RFID is a new form of wireless data transmission that is included in some credit cards. This is a handy alternative to pulling or plugging in your card. Some speculate, however, that the technology is not safe. Theoretically, a scammer could use an RFID receiver to retrieve the information from your card.

If you want to protect your Apple Card from RFID scammers, consider using the Herschel wallet with RFID blocking. It is a nylon wallet that will not deteriorate your Apple Card. The multiple pockets allow you to insulate your card from any abrasion-resistant material in your wallet.

Encased, OT ONETOP

Of course, many iPhone cases are perfect for your Apple Card. All these phone cases are soft and made of synthetic materials, so your card will not be disfigured. Keep in mind that thick phone cases with wireless charging contacts rarely work well.

Here are some great iPhone cases for your Apple Card:

  • OT ONETOP Latched Case (iPhone 7 and 8): Made from This versatile faux leather wallet has multiple compartments for your ID, cash, and valuable Apple Card. It has a physical lock as opposed to a magnetic lock, so your cards are not demagnetized. This case works with wireless charging stations as long as it's not too tight with too many cards.
  • OT ONETOP Latched Case (iPhone 7 plus and 8 Plus): This is just a larger version of the other OT ONETOP case. It is slim and synthetic and has a physical bar.
  • Spigen Slim Armor Case (iPhone X and XS): Ah, a sleek protective case with a secret flap for two cards. This is the perfect place to hide your Apple Card, even if you use a normal wallet for your other cards. However, due to the thickness of this case, it does not work with wireless charging stations.
  • Enveloped Phantom Wallet (iPhone XS Max): A simple case with a back pocket for three cards. This is a great alternative to a slim wallet. The Apple Card is absolutely error free, but does not work with wireless charging stations.
  • OT ONETOP Latched Case (iPhone XR): This is just the XR version of the other OT ONETOP case. It is slim and synthetic and has a physical lock.

And that's all it has to offer. These wallets and cases have the potential to keep your Apple Card absolutely flawless.
