If you like the widget, you can go one step further by selecting the "Add Widget" option in this popup. This displays the widget on the bottom of the Today view, which you can right-click anywhere on the lock screen, swipe right from the first home page, and swipe from the top center. To reorder the widgets, just click "Edit" at the bottom of the page and drag them in the order you want.
As previously mentioned, to rearrange widgets in the Today view, you must invoke the "Edit" option. Also, you can not remove an app's widget by using the 3D touch gesture on the app icon. Therefore, you must use the Edit menu for the Today view to remove widgets as well.
