The Nest Secure can now be used as a Google homepage – Review Geek

While Nest's alarm system has been integrated with Google Assistant's intelligent speakers for some time now, a new update is turning Nest Secure into its own Google home.

The Nest Guard (the main keyboard node of The Nest Secure system already has a built-in speaker and microphone with the required hardware requirements, so the new feature is simply added via a firmware update, from where you can get it Treat as Google Home Mini and ask for the weather and run routines.

However, there are some limitations: You still can not use your voice to disarm the Nest Secure system, so you can use either a keychain tag or the key code.

The update will be available today for Nest Secure users, and these users are likely to have a Google Home already, so it would be nice to have an additional unit in the house.
