One of the best horror films released in 2014 was The Purge: Anarchy a sequel to The Purge . Although it did not get the best reviews (and Ethan Hawke Starpower was missing), it was still very profitable, somehow better than the first part and best of all – brought forth several new Halloween costume ideas.
With most characters wearing custom masks, we show you their spooky-looking DIY make-up counterparts, especially if you then put on your hoodie. If you have any makeup skills at all, these masks should not be a problem for you.
Do not miss: Beware: The purge is back this Halloween
The most eye-catching look in the movie was the mask with "God" on top. With a glue stick, liquid latex, and a tissue you're on your way to achieving the same look that Kaylena Orr shows in her easy-to-understand tutorial.
The familiar face is that shown on the movie posters. Since it's actually make-up and not a mask, this is pretty easy to do with some white clown make-up and black complexion. As Kaylena Orr explains in her tutorial, the more messy she is, the better.
This may be the most ambitious look in the group, but definitely worth it if you can pull off. You need a lot of face color ( black, white, red, and beige) and dark gray eyeshadows, but with the MadeYewLook video tutorial you can easily achieve the look.
