Every day at noon, the open window opens my desktop workspace with the window open. I'm sure you feel my pain. Fortunately, there is a way to get rid of the clutter and focus on the task (and window) that does not go around and click on the small minimize button in each window that you want to delete from your desktop. Known as Aero Shake, this simple yet effective maneuver has been around since the days of Windows 7 ($ 36.89 at Amazon.com) Long before Windows 10 Spring 2018 Update and Focus Assist, but it's still so handy today
Just click on the title bar of the window and hold down to stay on the crowded desktop and shake something. As you wiggle, the other windows on your desktop are magically minimized and you get a clean vest to focus and work on.
And should you start feeling alone with just a single window on your suddenly barren desktop? the Aero Shake again and all the windows you dragged away come back.
