Update, 2:50 p.m. PT: As with PS5 and Xbox Series S, the first round of pre-orders for Xbox Series X seem to sell out instantly at most retailers. If more units are available we will let you know here.
We waited about a year. But howConsole (coming November 12th) the is almost here, along with the less powerful but cheaper Xbox series S. The Xbox will first ship on November 10th and Xbox pre-orders are now open (from 8 a.m. PT / 1
As the pre-order began, there was a lot of exciting news that could affect your upcoming decision to purchase the console. GameStop has announced. For example, an unwanted Xbox One X or an old PS4 Pro is worth $ 200, while a 500GB Xbox One can save $ 100 off the price of your new Xbox. Or if you want to buy your next console more like a smartphone – with an installment plan – there’s Xbox All Access you can get one with , no upfront costs.
And that’s not all: If you’re still on the fence between Xbox and PS5, you should know that Microsoft has just announced a purchase agreement for ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Studios. Should the deal go as expected, Microsoft would own Doom, Fallout, Skyrim, and other A-list franchises. It’s currently unclear how this will affect the future gaming landscape, but it could mean that Xbox will receive future Bethesda games first – or possibly receive them exclusively, or move them quickly to Xbox Game Pass. Of course there are many options.
You should be able to choose from half a dozen retailers. We will keep an eye on these deals and update their status below.
“Currently unavailable” is already displayed on Amazon’s pre-order page. You can click on the yellow email me Click the button to sign up for availability updates.
Best Buy was the last retailer, but the “Coming Soon” message on the pre-order page confirms that this item is also out of stock.
Newegg now seems to be sold out.
Unfortunately, Walmart is now sold out from pre-order inventory.
GameStop is now reporting that its pre-orders are no longer available.
Currently Target reports, “Pre-orders are sold out. Please check the release date again.”
If it was in stock, you could buy the console right now for $ 300 or choose the Xbox All Access plan, which includes the S series and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It costs $ 25 a month for 24 months. However, Microsoft is out of stock.
