This annoying iPhone feature has been fixed in iOS 13

On iOS 13, connecting to a new Wi-Fi network from the Control Center is finally possible.

Open the band and let go of the confetti cannons. With iOS 13 (and iPadOS ), finally added a feature to Apple that fans of the iPhone long for years. After installing iOS 13, you no longer need to open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad and every time you connect to a Wi-Fi network, you need to open the Wi-Fi network. Change area. Better yet, the same is true when connecting to a Bluetooth device. There's a shortcut for it now, and if you've ever used an Android phone, you'll recognize it instantly.

How can you use the new Wi-Fi link? Dead easy.

  1. Open the Control Center.

  3. Press and hold the Wi-Fi icon again, and bam displays a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
  4. Select the network to which you want to connect, enter the password and connect.

Why was not that always possible? Only Apple knows.

The process of connecting to a Bluetooth device is almost identical:

  1. Open the Control Center.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth icon until all connection switches are visible.
  3. If you press and hold the Bluetooth icon again, a list of nearby Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
  4. Select the device you want to connect to and a few seconds later, the iPhone to iPad will be disconnected.
