How can you use the new Wi-Fi link? Dead easy.
- Open the Control Center.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi icon until all connection switches are visible.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi icon again, and bam displays a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the network to which you want to connect, enter the password and connect.
Why was not that always possible? Only Apple knows.

The process of connecting to a Bluetooth device is almost identical:
- Open the Control Center.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth icon until all connection switches are visible.
- If you press and hold the Bluetooth icon again, a list of nearby Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
- Select the device you want to connect to and a few seconds later, the iPhone to iPad will be disconnected.
Switching between Bluetooth devices is easier than ever on iOS 13.
