The Amazon Prime Day 2019 is almost here from 15 to 16 July. While you might just stumble in and try to find some good deals, by planning ahead, you can make the most of your fictional Amazon vacation.
Here are some of our favorite Amazon Prime Day tips.
Sign Up So far if you do not have Amazon Prime yet
To be eligible for Amazon Prime Day, you need a subscription to Amazon Prime, but you do not necessarily have to pay for it. Amazon offers Amazon Prime a free 30-day trial that you can use for Prime Day. Remember, you only qualify if you have not had a Prime in the last 12 months (or ever).
Once the sale is completed, you can cancel Prime without being charged a fee. However, Prime has many benefits, so you might want to think about keeping the subscription.
Sign in to Amazon Prime.
Do not forget to get student or Medicaid discounts.
If you are a qualified student or Medicaid (or EBT) recipient, you do not have to pay the full price. If you qualify, you pay only $ 6.99 a month or $ 60 a year. Students can even sign up for a free 6-month trial.
Use third-party tools to get a good deal.
Not all Prime Day offers are created equal. To make sure you get the best possible offer, we recommend using a third-party pricing tool like Camelcamelcamel or Keepa to see the price history. With PriceBlink you can also determine if the same item is being offered at a lower price in another store.
Even at Amazon, not all products are good. We recommend FakeSpot to check if an Amazon product has a high percentage of wrong ratings.
Do not forget to put yourself on the waiting list and sign up for notifications.
The best deals are usually fast. To secure a place in the queue, you want to join the waiting list and periodically check that the item is available. You can even sign up for a notification so you do not have to do things manually.
Remember that you have 15 minutes to check out the item once it's in your cart. Otherwise it will be removed from your cart. You may miss your chance only to a large extent.
You only have 15 minutes to review a store or it will be removed from your cart.

Watch out for Lightning offers so you do not miss out on anything.
The Amazon Prime Day consists of a mix of all-day offers (at least until stocks are exhausted) and time-limited offers, known as lighting deals.
Flash offers are selling out fast, so be careful. If you find that your desired deal has been fully utilized, you may still have a slim chance of being on the deal's waiting list. As already mentioned, customers only have a limited amount of time to buy. Failure to reach an agreement on time can cause them to lose their place.
Look for competing deals

Because Amazon is so big in the online shopping industry, it has a fair share of rivals: Walmart, Target and eBay have announced competing sales to compete with Prime Day, and Likely Best Buy and others will also participate in promotions.
Unlike Prime Day, these offers do not require subscriptions, so the bottom line is that Some of the things offered during Prime Day will be defeated by a rival, so be careful.
Make Sale With a Family Member
Amazon Prime lets you share your Prime account with another adult in your house lt or even your children. While the latter need a shopping permit, the other adult can do what he wants. This means that you can tag team deals and break the list of actions you want.
Some Other Tips And Considerations
These are the biggest and biggest ones The most obvious tips, there are a few other Amazon Prime tips about which one should consider:
- Plan ahead. Knowing what to expect from Amazon before announcing the sale or the deals will help you prepare better. Obviously impulse buys are a big part of Prime Day, but if you need this new TV or Amazon Kindle, it's worth bookmarking or setting up notifications in advance. You should also create a list of the big ticket items you want to secure, especially if you mark the sale with someone as a team.
- Set reminders or highlight the calendar. It's easy to forget things. So set up a Google Calendar alert, circle around your old school calendar, or whatever else you need to do to remember the big sales day!
- Amazon credit card provides you with a credit line for large companies If you want to save even more, you can pass on the two-day shipping. Typically, you get smaller things like a $ 1 reward on digital purchases like e-books and apps, but that can add up.
- Prepare your shopping list for Prime Day. Last year, Prime members who spent $ 10 on Whole Foods received an Amazon loan of $ 10 to use it for sale. Amazon did not announce this year's integration of Whole Foods, but this time we expect similar or even better deals.
