If you like a clean desktop, Windows can be a bit uncomfortable. Many programs that you install will automatically add their own desktop icon so you can permanently delete them. Skip the hassle and hide all desktop icons instead.
If you are using a PC with a blank desktop, you can also use this option to re-enable all these hidden icons.
To hide or right-click your desktop, point to View, and then click Show Desktop Icons. This option works on Windows 1
