For some reason, as humans, we have this twice-yearly ritual where we change all the clocks around us. Since most of our watches are connected to the Internet, the trouble of having to manually change the time is a thing of the past.
Still, it can never hurt to make sure your gadget changes the time.
Why It's Important to Make sure Your Watch Is Correct
Your internal clock still needs to be set for about a week, but the clock of your phone or computer has probably begun to replace the wall clock that you see in your watch House or office. You do not want your alarm clock to fire at the wrong time, and you do not have to rush to a meeting that does not start for another hour.
How to Set the DST on Windows
On your Windows device, open the Settings app.
Then select "Time & Language".
Finally, make sure that the button next to "Automatically adjust for summer time" is checked. That's it!
How to Customize the DST on MacOS
On your MacBook or iMac, open the System Preferences app. Select "Date & Time".
Make sure "Set time zone automatically based on current location" is selected.
To set the DST on iOS
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app. Then select "General".
Next, open Date & Time.
Make sure the switch next to "Auto Adjust" is on.
If you are using an Apple Watch, it will automatically be displayed. Customize it according to your iPhone.
How to set DST on Android
Open the Settings app on your Android smartphone or tablet. Open "System".
Then open Date and Time.
Make sure the switches next to "Automatic date and time" and "Automatic time zone" are selected.
If you use any of the options Samsung's phones, the settings menus are labeled slightly differently. Open the Settings app, scroll down and select General Management.
Tap "Date and time" and make sure that the switch next to "Automatic date and time" is selected.
To set the DST on Chrome OS
On your Chromebook or Chromebox, open the Settings app. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Advanced".
Select "Time Zone" under "Date and Time."
Make sure the balloon next to "Auto Adjust" is selected.
How to Set the DST to Xbox One
On your Xbox One, open the Settings app.
Select System, then Time.
Make sure the checkbox next to "Automatically adjust for daylight saving time" is checked.
How to set the DST on PlayStation 4
Open the Settings app on your PS4.
Scroll down and select "Date and time."
Make sure that the box next to "Automatically set daylight saving time" is checked.
To set daylight saving time on Apple TV
On your Apple TV, open the Settings app. Select "General" and then under "Date and time" the option "Automatic setting".
If you have not already done so, you'll need to turn on Location Services on the next screen to let Apple TV know your current time zone.
Then you're done! Your Apple TV will change the clock automatically.
How to set the DST for Roku
Open the Settings menu on your Roku streaming device or Smart TV.
Then select "System" and "About."
Click "Time Zone".
Select "Auto adjust".

Scroll up your Android TV streaming box or Smart TV and go to "Settings".
Scroll down and select "Date and time."
Then select "Automatic Date and Time".  Make sure "Use time provided by network" is selected.

How to Set the DST Setting on Fire TV
Amazon Fire TV sets do not allow automatic switchover for DST. So you do not have to change it back.
Smart displays like the Google Home Hub and Amazon Echo Show automatically dedicate time from your Internet router, as well as any other smart device you've connected to your Wi-Fi network. Most routers will update their clocks automatically, so you do not have to log in to the router's administration screen.
Smartwatches, hybrid watches, and fitness bands adjust their time to your smartphone so you should wake up and adjust the time for you. You may also be able to set the time manually using the watch companion app, but this should not be required.
Amazon's cool new connected microwave will be released on November 14th. So we have to wait until spring to see how time changes. Presumably you will only get the new time from your internet router.
