You can schedule emails with the new Gmail feature.

You do not want your e-mail to get lost in the shuffle because you sent it late at night or during the big game, and you do not want to be the joke that makes a work e-mail on a Saturday. Mail is sending. Fortunately, using the latest feature in Gmail you can schedule emails that you want to send at the time you want, without having to save them as a draft that you must remember. From now on, you can schedule emails up to 49 years in advance.

Gmail launched this feature on its fifteenth birthday, April 1

. I have not arrived in every email account yet. Once you've been pushed – and that's just the luck of the raffle – you'll need to refresh the page to make it appear. If so, you'll see an arrow next to the "Submit" button in the browser or the stacked three dots in the app.

When you've finished creating your email and are ready to schedule it:

Step 1: Find the drop-down arrow near the "Submit" button.

Step 2: Click the arrow and then click "Send Schedule".

Step 3: A menu is displayed where you can select the date and time of the e-mail you want to send.

Step 4 : Select the time and click "Schedule Send". The lower left corner displays a message box with the message "Send scheduled for …" in which you can undo or display the message if an error occurs.

Using the Gmail app on your phone or tablet

From your mobile phone, look for the three stacked points.

Step 1: If you're using the Gmail app to send an e-mail, you'll find the stacked three dots in the upper-right corner.

Step 2: Tap the points and choose Send Schedule.

Step 3: From there, a menu is displayed where you can insert the date and time of your shipment.

Step 4 : Click Send Schedule. The lower left corner displays a message box with the message "Send scheduled for …". You can undo the action or view your message.

What if I need to update or delete the email?

If you still do not want to send the email, you can delete it anyway. You can reach it before the scheduled time.

Simply click "Scheduled" in the main menu, select the email you want to delete and select "Cancel send".

If you need to update the time or date when the e-mail should be sent, cancel the operation. Email. A draft will appear in which you can edit the contents of the e-mail and repeat the above steps.
