In addition to the traditional method of sending a PowerPoint presentation as an e-mail attachment to others, you can also upload and share your presentation from the cloud. All you need to get started is a OneDrive account. That's how it's done.
Sharing Your PowerPoint Presentation
It's relatively easy to save a PowerPoint presentation in the cloud. In fact, it only takes a few simple clicks. However, for this to work you need a OneDrive account. If you use Office 365, you already have one. Otherwise, all you have to do is create a Microsoft account and then sign in to OneDrive. This article assumes that you already have an OneDrive account.

First, open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to share. In the upper right corner of the window, the Share button appears. Continue and select it.
After selection, the "Sharing" window is displayed. Here you have different options. In the "Attach a copy" group, you can send your presentation as a PowerPoint or PDF attachment. Selecting one of these options opens the default e-mail client on your computer.
However, what interests us is the release for OneDrive. Under "Share", select your OneDrive account.
If you have not already named your presentation, you will be prompted to do so. After giving it a name, click "OK".
Your presentation will now be uploaded to the cloud, and the Share section will appear on the right. Here you can invite people to edit (or read) the document. Enter the recipient's e-mail in the address bar. Alternatively, you can select the icon to the right of the address bar and select a recipient from your Outlook Address Book.
After you enter the recipient's e-mail address, you can assign a permission level. After you have read / write or read-only permission, you can add an optional message. When you're done, click "Share".
The recipient receives an e-mail with access to the presentation.
Note: If You Need to Check the Spam Folder! During our tests we found the invitation in spam.
An alternative way to invite people is to get a link to share. At the bottom of the Share section, select Get Approval Link.
Next, select the type of link you want to deploy. You can choose between a read / write link and a read-only link.
Then a link is generated. Select "Copy" to copy the link to your clipboard.
Everyone with whom you share this link will have access to the presentation. In this way, several people can work in real time on your presentation!
