After tapping the New Message icon, a new, empty chat appears. At this point you have two options. The quickest way is to enter the name of the first person to be included in the group, followed by the second, third, and so forth.
However, if you prefer less, tap the plus icon. to display the contents of your address book. When you tap a name, they are added to the group unless they have multiple contact points to choose from. In this case, you have the option of selecting the desired name.
When you've added the people you want, just type in your first message in the build box and you're off to the races.
After you have sent the first message, you can find the newly created message chat thread in the Messages app for future use.
