The best way to browse through your iCloud Photo Library is an iPad. If you want to edit these pictures, we recommend photos on a Mac. If not, you can view photos online.
Many users are not aware that they can access any photo and video stored in the iCloud Photo Library from any desktop computer, as long as they have access to iCloud.com. This is a feature Apple has been unable to share well with, which is a pity as it can be very useful.
To get started, all you need is a connection to iCloud.com, your Apple ID and password, and your two-factor authentication code. You have two-factor authentication, right?
To view iCloud photos online
First open Safari or another web browser if Safari is unavailable Click iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID email address and yours Password. When you have authenticated, click the Photos icon.
Once the page loads, you'll see something similar to Photos on a Mac, but a little less suitable. If you've used iCloud.com for the first time to view your library, it may take some time to put everything together.
You may not have the same editing tools you would expect on an iOS device or Mac However, you can use the interface to view all the photos or videos stored in the iCloud Photo Library. If you click on a photo, it will open completely.
If you want to upload a new photo or video, click the icon with a cloud and the up arrow (see below).
To switch between the Moments and Photos views, click the desired option at the top of the screen.
You can view your photos and videos online If you're using a Windows PC, for example, this is a great solution.
If you can work seamlessly with Windows and have instant control over your photos and videos, you can download and install Apple's iCloud Photos for Windows. With this app, you can access your iCloud Photo Library for free without using a web browser. They are displayed in a special folder "iCloud Photos" in File Explorer.
