Folders are great for organizing apps and removing clutter on the home screen. However, once they become overloaded, finding and starting an app is not that easy anymore. However, if you have a jailbroken device, you can use a tweak to browse less in folders and open the apps in it more easily.
David Goldman's Manila Tweak Enables Use of 3D Touch or Touch Touch app folders to open apps directly without having to open the folders they are in. The Tweak can be installed for free by Cydia and Sileo and works immediately, as you do not have to make any additional settings, see below.
: Install Packix Repo
Manila is only available on the popular Packix repo. Unfortunately, Packix is not available natively in Cydia or Sileo, which means you need to add it manually. To do this, go to the "Sources" page and add https://repo.packix.com .
Using Packix, locate Manila and select it as soon as it appears. From there, tap "Install" (Cydia) or "Get" (Sileo) and follow the instructions to complete the installation of the Tweak.
Manila will be activated automatically as soon as your iPhone has re-emerged. Now you can touch any folder on your home screen with either 3D Touch or Haptic Touch to open a context menu with the first four apps in the folder. Just tap on one of the apps in the pop-up window to start it!
