Using iTunes Music in PowerPoint Presentations

One of the attractions of PowerPoint is the ability to play music during the presentation. Adding music to your presentation is easy, but using a song from your iTunes library requires a few extra steps. How to Use iTunes Music in PowerPoint:

How to Convert iTunes AAC Files to MP3

When you buy a song from the iTunes Store, it will be stored as an AAC file at 256 kbps in your library , There is no argument that this file format is not popular. As you may have guessed, PowerPoint does not support this file type. So how do you use music from your iTunes library in your presentation? You must convert the files to MP3 format.

To do this, open iTunes, choose the Edit tab, then choose Preferences from the drop-down menu.

The General Settings window is displayed. On the General tab, select Import Settings.

Select the arrow next to the "Import Using" option and select "MP3 Encoder" from the list. Click OK".

Next, select the song from your library that you want to use in your PowerPoint presentation. In this example, we use Kyle Landry's depiction of Howl's Moving Castle.

After selecting the "File" tab, select "Convert" from the drop-down menu.

Then select "Create MP3 Version" from the submenu.

Your library will now display a copy of the same song.

Let's make sure it's actually an MP3 file, right-click on it and choose "Song Info" from the song Menu.

Go to the "File" tab and check the information next to "Format." MPEG-1, Layer 3 ", the file was successfully converted.

Alternatively you can change the format of the file Check by navigating to the location of the file in Windows Explorer. The file path is usually:

Adding Music to PowerPoint

Now you can add the MP3 file to your PowerPoint presentation , To do this, open PowerPoint and navigate to the slide on which you want to insert the title. Next, go to the "Media" group on the "Insert" tab and select "Audio". In the drop-down menu that appears, select "Audio on My PC."

Navigate to the above file path to locate the recently converted MP3 file. Select the file and then "Paste".
