You can not use social media today without encountering stories. They are just everywhere. If you're an avid Facebook Messenger user, you can view your friend's Facebook and Messenger stories at the top of your Chats list. But with a new Messenger feature, your and other people's stories are embedded into chats.
Facebook introduced this feature in March 2019 for iOS users in version 206.0 and for Android users in version 184.108.40.206.99. So make sure you're running the latest messenger update for iPhone or Android, and you should be fine.
Showing stories in chats is easy. If you're chatting with a friend who posted to their story, there are two ways to show them in the thread. Note, however, that this only applies to one-to-one conversations, as in group chats you can not view the story of anyone in the group.
If you're using the iOS app, first touch its profile icon at the top left of the thread. They know that they have a new story, if this symbol has a blue ring. If it's a gray ring, it means you've already seen it. Second, whether you're using iOS or Android, you can now tap the pop-up window "View [Name] & # 39; s" at the bottom of the chat.
Each of these actions opens the story of your friend. You can stop it at any time by dragging it down. If you have not looked at every clip in the story, you'll still see the blue ring icon and the bottom link. After you have looked at the whole story, the popup disappears and a gray ring appears around the profile picture. You can touch the profile icon at any time to redisplay the story until it expires.
