Today Billboard Magazine is known as the magazine that has written (and still does) music history , Getting into the Billboard music charts is the culmination of many musicians. 894, Billboard was a magazine that literally focused on publicity billboards, billboards, and publicity materials that were placed along with Bill posters (people who hang advertising posters) titled Billboard Advertising and it was a trade magazine for advertising. Very quickly, however, the magazine began to mainly promote advertising and information about circuses, fairs, carnivals, vaudeville and burlesque shows. From there, Billboard magazine became the magazine for the entertainment industry, and circus artists from around the world read it to keep up with what's happening in the industry.

In 1907 they started with the film industry, but quickly switched to cover music. In the 1920s, they even founded a radio station that covered the developments in phonograph and radio technology. When the 1930s came to light and jukeboxes spread across the country, they began releasing what would later become the iconic Billboard Music Chart. In the 1960s, the magazine's amusement park / performer elements were transferred to separate releases, and Billboard completed the transformation into today's icon of the music industry.
