The US government has effectively banned Google and other companies from doing business with Huawei. Google can not work with Huawei on future products. However, you may be wondering what happens to your existing Huawei or Honor phones.

The good news: Your existing phone is considering getting services from Google. The Google Play Store and all other Google services, including the security of Google Play Protect, will continue to function normally. Google's official Android account has confirmed this on Twitter. Your phone will continue to function normally without any changes.

This only applies to your current device. Huawei can not integrate Google services on new devices. So you should make no effort to buy a new Huawei phone if you want Google services.
