Clue: The Movie was a comedy from 1
Adapting the Game On the Big Screen, writer / director Jonathan Lynn did his best to keep the sense of mystery and fun that went with the actual game. Although it was difficult to complete such a stunt before digitally filming and distributing, he filmed three separate ends that were spliced into the films before being distributed all over the country (as such, one could see the film on one side of the city and then on) London) on the other side of the city to find out that the killer was a completely different guest at dinner.
When the film was later aired on television and released on VHS, he was usually charged with all three endings in a row with the third shot as the true ending. With the advent of DVD technology, viewers could choose a fortuitous ending and recreate the theatrical experience.
