With the next release of Windows 10, you can uninstall more built-in apps



With the next update of Windows 10, code name 19H1, which is expected to be released in April 2019, you can uninstall more of the built-in Windows 10 apps in just a few clicks. Do not you want 3D Viewer, Groove Music or Paint 3D? Uninstall it!

This feature has just been added to the Windows Insider Preview build 1

8262, which is now available for Windows Insiders in the Quick Ring. To uninstall one of these apps, just right-click on the shortcut in your Start menu and choose "Uninstall". Here is the full list of apps you can remove by courtesy of Microsoft:

  • Calculator
  • Calendar
  • Groove Music
  • Mail [19659004] Movies & TV
  • Paint 3D
  • Snip & Sketch
  • Sticky Notes
  • Voice Recorder

You can uninstall some apps this way today. Here are the apps that you can quickly uninstall when you use the October 2018 update or an earlier version of Windows 10:

  • Microsoft Solitaire Collection
  • My Office
  • OneNote
  • Print 3D
  • Skype
  • Tips
  • Weather

After you uninstall an integrated app, you can reinstall it from the store at any time if you want to restore it.
