You can now sync your PC's important folders with OneDrive



Apple has enabled you to synchronize folders on your Mac with iCloud Drive for almost two years, and now Microsoft offers this convenience and protection through its OneDrive cloud service. With Windows 10 ($ 100 at Amazon.com) you can now automatically sync your desktop, document, and picture folders with OneDrive, making them accessible to more than just any device connected to the Internet Also adds a layer of protection should your PC go belly-up. This folder sync is available for all OneDrive accounts for staff, work, and school.

Setting Up OneDrive Folder Synchronization

To start syncing folders with OneDrive, you must make settings for OneDrive. There are two possibilities:

1. Click the OneDrive Clouds icon on the taskbar, click More and then Settings .

. 2 If you use OneDrive's files on request you can open File Explorer right-click OneDrive and select Settings .

With the OneDrive Settings window open, click the Auto Save tab, and then click the Update folders button. This opens another window that shows you that your desktop, pictures, and documents folder is syncing. You can click Stop to protecting to finish syncing the three.

OneDrive Synchronization Disabilities

According to Microsoft, Outlook PST files and OneNote files can not be synchronized with OneDrive. In addition, OneDrive can not sync files larger than 20GB.
