Finding the WLAN in a new location is a challenge enough. The connection to this WLAN should be as easy as possible. If someone you know is not already connected to their iPhone, you're probably used to the familiar routine of going to the Wi-Fi page in the Settings app to be online. Luckily, there is a much better option now.
With iOS 13, you can now switch to Wi-Fi and connect directly to the Control Center. Just open the Control Center by swiping across the display, either from top right (iPhone with face recognition) or bottom-up (iPhone with home button). Next, open the connection box on the top left by long press and then long press on the Wi-Fi icon. Here is a complete list of all available Wi-Fi networks that you can connect to by simply typing.
The only catch? If a password is required for the Wi-Fi network you select, you will be directed to the regular Wi-Fi settings page to authenticate yourself. This window also gives you quick access to settings by tapping Wi-Fi Settings.
