Everyone loves AirPods, right? Well, maybe everybody whose ears fit AirPods. That was the problem with the first two generations – one size does not fit all. However, the new AirPods Pro comes with three different sizes of rubber earplugs. While you can experiment for yourself to find the one that works best, Apple has programmed your AirPods Pro to do it yourself.
How does it work? According to Apple, "advanced algorithms" along with the microphones in both AirPods Pro's current rubber tips analyze how the sound behaves in each ear. The results of this test determine if iOS considers one or both earbuds to be a good fit, or if one or both must be replaced. This is a nice feature that is currently only available in AirPods Pro.
First, make sure your AirPods Pro is connected to your iPhone with iOS 1
If both rubber earplugs are the wrong size, the message will appear in yellow: "Adjust or Try Another Earplug."
If one or both of your rubber earbuds match, this will be indicated by a green message: "Good Seal".
That's all there is to do! Run the test until you get this green message for both the left and right AirPods Pro. Do not worry if you use one earplug for the left and another for the right AirPod – it's all about what works best for you AirPod Pros
