To make room for the newtab in the App Store, Apple had to make a difficult decision. Which tab has to go? Finally, the tab Updates got the boat. This does not mean that you can not update your apps anymore. It just means that the place where you update your apps has changed ̵
If you're the type who never updates your apps and is constantly alerted to a notification icon on the App Store icon, I can not help you unless you keep apps up-to-date to make sure they are the safest and provide the best possible performance.
Luckily, app updates are still easy to come by. You just have to know where to look on youror a device with iOS 13 for that matter.
To update your apps in iOS 13:
- To view pending updates, open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- Touch the profile icon .
- All available updates appear under the Personalized Recommendations button. If no updates are displayed, you can drag the page down to refresh it and force your device to check for updates.
If you have updates, you can either update them one at a time or tap the Update All button and name it a day. App updates are not only somewhat hidden, but also. Swipe left over an app you do not want to remove.
